Designed for harsh environments, the Algiz 8® delivers maximum performance to mobile workforces. Algiz 8 is a tablet PC that meets rigorous military standard for drops, vibration and condensation. With an IP65 rating it is protected against dust and water. It handles extreme temperatures, from -20 °C to 50 °C. Whatever the conditions are, the Algiz will do the job.

Algiz 8 features an ATOM 1.6 GHz Processor, 16-64 GB Solid State drive or a 60 GB hard drive and 1-2 GB RAM. The Microsoft Windows 7 operating system runs all the applications well known to PC users, including calendar, email, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

To provide reliable communication in the field, Algiz 8 features integrated Bluetooth that connects easily to other peripheral devices. The 802.11b/g wireless provides access to local area networks, email and the Internet. Integrated 3G/GPRS cellular capability, as well as high sensitivity GPS are optional.

For the ultimate user experience the Algiz 8 is built compact and lightweight. The 8.4” SVGA TFT resistive touch screen is sunlight viewable for all environments. For even better outdoor visibility an optional 1100 NIT screen provides unmatched screen visibility in even the brightest conditions. A hot swappable battery lets you continue working all day without recharging. To supply an ergonomic and secure grip, the Algiz 8 also features an integrated hand strap and several other carrying options.

Made of shock absorbing materials and rugged inside and out, Algiz 8 is one of the most durable 8.4” tablet PCs on the market. It is perfect for areas such as geodesy, military, emergency services, security, service technicians, logistics and transportation.
