Getac V100 Rugged Laptop

The Getac V100 is a lightweight solution for those requiring the portability of a Tablet PC along with the ease of use of a notebook. An innovative and fully rugged two-way hinge enables a simple transformation between the two formats.

Based on the latest Intel Core vPro platform technology the V100 is ready for the latest operating systems. The V100 features a 10.4” XGA display. With a multitude of wireless options, including Bluetooth, 3G and Wireless LAN, the V100 is a powerful performer.

All of this is packed into a magnesium alloy case that incorporates a shock mounted hard disk drive, ensuring that the unit adheres to MIL-STD 810G for shock and vibration protection. As standard the V100 is sealed to IP65 to keep out dust and moisture, with further protection being afforded by the optional rubber backlight keyboard.

The V100 is also an upgrade option open to those currently using the Panasonic CF-18 / CF-19. This is not only due to the V100 having exactly the same footprint, it also has an identical universal connector positioned on the underside of the unit. This enables the V100 to make use of certain existing desk and vehicle docking solutions.

With the V100, Getac have produced a computer that is rugged, versatile and compatible with many existing systems.
