Steatite Blazepoint Showcases Portfolio of Rugged Mobile Computers at Counter Terror Expo 2010
Steatite Blazepoint, a leader in rugged mobile computing, will be showcasing its range of ndura RUGGED® mobile computers at this year's Counter Terror Expo; National Hall Olympia, London 14th - 15th April, on stand E14. Products on display and available for demonstration include the Rugged Convertible Laptop, Tactical Tablet PC and Rugged PDA.
Steatite Blazepoint provide a range of rugged computers, printers and peripheral products aimed at those operating in surveillance or covert operations - as well as in situations requiring secure remote data management. They are ideal for military, emergency response and counter terror operations and can be used in extreme operating conditions as they are tested to meet MIL-STD-810F (drop, shock, water and dust ingress, vibration and extreme temperature ranges), MIL-STD-461E (EMC) and TEMPEST (information assurance) standards.
Selected demonstration units will also feature top brand Crisis Management and Anti-Piracy software, which can be used during operations for blue force tracking, updating situational awareness and adjustments to operational tactics. In addition, the rugged laptop that recently returned from Bolivia where it survived the BBC Top Gear trip will be demonstrated alongside Cambridge Consultants' advanced hand-held through-wall radar system - highlighting the way in which both solutions work together to remotely control, monitor and record critical operational intelligence.
“Counter Terror Expo is the only major international exhibition and conference of its kind to take place in the UK. It therefore provides a unique showcase for our rugged mobile devices - allowing us to demonstrate field proven, reliable mobile computing solutions that ensure continued operation in almost any environment.” says Gary Littledyke, Director of Sales & Marketing, Steatite Blazepoint.
