currently has the following opportunities: 

SENIOR ELECTRONICS ENGINEER

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of specifications and project plans
  • Preparation of conceptual designs and costings for projects
  • Liaison with customers and suppliers in the UK and overseas
  • Preparation of detailed PCB Designs and Layouts for digital and analogue circuits
  • Compiling Micro Code and Firmware
  • Carrying out analysis and simulation of designs to ensure they meet the required specification
  • Arranging, building and testing of prototype and pre-production products
  • Compilation of production build and test documentation
  • Checking and approval of component and assembly design and selection
  • Providing support for younger members of the team

Requirements:

  • BEng Electronics Engineering or similar
  • Minimum 6 years experience in an Electronics Design Engineering role
  • Familiar with the requirements of high speed interfaces
  • Experienced with PIC or other micro-controller embedded software
  • Good understanding of extended environmental and EMC requirements and emerging technologies
  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite
  • Good attention to detail
  • Highly motivated individual who takes pride in their work

SENIOR MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of specifications and project plans
  • Preparation of conceptual designs and costings for projects
  • Liaison with customers and suppliers in the UK and overseas
  • Preparation of detailed part and assembly 3D models and drawings
  • Carrying out analysis of designs to ensure they meet the required specification
  • Arranging and building prototype and pre-production products
  • Compilation of production build and test documentation
  • Checking and approval of component and assembly drawings
  • Providing support for younger members of the team

Requirements:

  • BEng Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Minimum 6 years experience in a Mechanical Design Engineering role
  • Experience of designing plastic mouldings, sheet metal and castings
  • Experience of 3D CAD tools, preferably SolidWorks and COSMOS
  • Good understanding of extended environmental requirements
  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite
  • Good attention to detail
  • Highly motivated individual who takes pride in their work
