RUGGED LAPTOPS AID RUGGED USB CHALLENGE ON GADGET SHOW - 27/04/2010

Blazepoint recently provided North One TV with four rugged laptops to assist in an outdoors challenge testing four of the markets most ruggedised USB memory sticks on the popular Channel Five Series, The Gadget Show.

In this surprise special The Gadget Show presenters, Jon Bentley, Ortis Deley, Jason Bradbury and Suzi Perry, were not aware what would be involved in the filming until the morning of the shoot.

During the challenge the USB sticks endured raging fire, high pressure water hoses and drops from height. In order to maintain the 'Rugged Theme' of the challenge and with the British weather being so unpredictable, North One TV did not want to use standard laptops in case they became damaged and delayed the filming on location.
