A: Blazepoint is a designer and manufacturer of printers and associated peripherals for the defence market. The printers and peripherals are designed to withstand extremes of temperature shock and vibration. Commercial products include our own range of thermal barcode printers and kiosks. Blazepoint also resells other leading brand specialist ticket and badge printers.


Q: What is Blazepoint's history?

A: Blazepoint's origins date back to 1982 when it was established as a sale and repair business of printers for office use. The company in its current form started to develop in 1995 as it began to evolve from the office printer business to the sale of specialist application printers and rugged engineering for computer peripherals. The business now operates two key divisions: Defence Engineering, and Commercial Products.

A: Blazepoint is a combination of both. Blazepoint's rugged products, thermal barcode printers and bespoke kiosks are manufactured in house, whilst the ticket, kiosk and badge printers marketed by the company are sourced from US manufacturers.

A: Blazepoint has a broad client base including General Dynamics, ICL, Thales, EDS and BAe Systems for their rugged peripherals, Nestle and Eposs for their kiosks and Odeon Cinemas, Warner Village and Royal Opera House for their ticket printers.
