Your high quality Zebra (formerly Eltron) card printer will operate at its optimum performance when only Zebra Certified Supplies are used.

Zebra Plastic Cards

Three common card types can be used with Zebra card printers:

• ABS (only with monochrome printers)
• Premier (PVC)
• Premier Plus cards (Composite PVC)

Premier cards provide high image quality, medium flexibility and temperature durability. They are suitable for card applications with moderate usage and controlled environments.

Premier Plus cards are stronger because they have a polyester core and are sandwiched with PVC. These cards should be used in application environments that require high usage.

TrueColour Ribbons

TrueColour printing ribbons are designed to create brilliantly clear and vivid images that are smudge and scratch resistant. The ribbons are designed with a unique silicone based "back coating" which allows the ribbon to pass smoothly over the printhead and helps to extend printhead life.

Varnish Overlays are designed to eliminate the potential of tampering or alterations to cards. This media can extend the card life span to 2-5 years. Overlaminates can only be used with the Zebra P520.
