Royal Ascot 2003

In June Blazepoint and Eltron jointly organised a hospitality day at Royal Ascot where several Blazepoint resellers were able to enjoy some really great racing.  Ian Bargus, our UK Channel Manager, Jonathan Sewell,  Business Development Manager,  and members of Eltron's sales and marketing team welcomed our customers at the Royal Ascot Village where everyone appeared to have a superb day!

David Fraser of Plastic Card Design Services said: "I spent an excellent day at Ascot - it was thoroughly enjoyable."

Simon Andrews of Wave Technologies commented: "I had a wonderful day and I think a good time was had by all."

CeBIT 2003

Despite the acknowledged decrease in the number of visitors this year Blazepoint enjoyed a great deal of interest in their newly launched DUO and TRIO printers. 

The printers in the Blazepoint range all have parallel, serial and USB ports as standard, a feature that many visitors were particularly interested in.  However it has to be said that the main interest was the innovative and flexible ‘on board PC’ option, which is available in both models.  As an ‘invisible’ option it may not have been what attracted people onto their stand, but it was certainly what made them stay!

Data Capture Europe 2002

Blazepoint successfully launched their new thermal printer range at Data Capture Europe in Cologne at the beginning of November 2002.

Blazepoint offer 2 models - the DUO and the TRIO. These printers, which combine a high performance printer capability with compactness, ruggedness and innovative technical standards, will be distributed via a network of partners and OEMs across Europe.

Oaks Day at Epsom

On 7th June 2002 Eltron and Blazepoint organised a Corporate Hospitality Day for their customers at Epsom. A highlight of this year's Oaks Day was not only the horse racing, but England's crucial world-cup match against Argentina.

Ian Bargus, our Channel Support Manager: "The combination of football and horse race fever made the day so special. Our customers really enjoyed the day at Epsom and I am sure that this event helped to cement our future relationships."

Lots of well-known high-street companies showed their interest in Blazepoint's retail solutions.

Paul Cooper, Trevor Cooper, Andrew Neill, and Ian Walbank entertained guests with a day of good food, drink and of course betting at this traditional event.

All guests enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and spirit of the races, but for many the highlight of the day was to meet Jim Culloty, Jockey of the winning horse, Best Mate.

Sales Director, Trevor Cooper, summed up the day: "Cheltenham was a big success for Blazepoint and I am sure that we will repeat hospitality activities with our customers in the future."
