Each system is built to comply with the users requirements and specification. This includes performance, environmental considerations and careful thought for both cooling and transportation requirements.

The systems are usually housed in Alloy cases because of their heat dissipation qualities. Other benefits over plastic cases include strength to weight ratio, extraordinary resistance to corrosion, endurance against stress and cracking, sustaining cold temperatures, RFI/EMI Shielding and suitability to special environments. Plastic cases are used for the storage and transportation of peripherals such as keyboards, screens, cables etc.

Expert in adapting commercial off-the-shelf equipment, Blazepoint transforms products to work far beyond the original manufacturer’s specification. Offering client focused engineering with technology driven processes, Blazepoint engineer robust IT Hardware with enhancements that allow it to cope with temperature, vibration, shock and other environmental considerations. Screens and keyboards are also selected to meet the environmental considerations.

Blazepoint have the benefit of having their own test laboratories for Heat, Cold, Humidity, Shock, Vibration and EMC. The company also has its own in-house design team using ‘solid works’ 3D design software. This enables the company to design, prototype and test at our Oxford facility, to meet standards such as MIL-STD-810F, MIL-STD-461E and a given IP rating.
