Blazepoint Features on BBC Working Lunch

On Wednesday 24th January 2007, Blazepoint featured on the BBC’s Working Lunch programme. In addition to appearing on the programme, Blazepoint will feature on a soon-available DVD compendium of the “Lunch Lesson” case studies that the BBC sends to schools and colleges across the UK as a resource for those studying Business Studies.

Ian Walker, Group Operations Director of Blazepoint, said: “The filming took place earlier this month and covered all areas of the organisation. Several of the employees were featured during interviews, demonstrating product tests, and on the production line. It was a great experience for everyone involved.

“Over the past year the company has doubled its turnover with increased orders in both defence and commercial sectors. Due to this continuing success, Blazepoint is recruiting additional personnel in all areas of the business. We were delighted to be selected as a business case study by the BBC, and it is a compliment to think that Blazepoint will be studied by, and hopefully inspire, students who are themselves going to help run businesses in the near future.”
