The Intelligent Volume Battery Charger Solution
This intelligent twelve gang battery charger is an excellent example of Blazepoint’s ability to design and engineer customised solutions to meet specific needs within particularly demanding environments. It was developed to provide a cost effective volume battery charging solution for mobile ticket printers used in the UK Rail Industry. It’s robust design makes it ideal for office, depot or workshop environments.
The charger unit can accommodate up to twelve Lithium-ion battery packs with the same profile as those used in the Casio IT-3000 industrial data terminal and is ideal for applications utilising multiple mobile devices needing regular battery charging.
The charger can be mounted on to any flat surface, or alternatively wall mounted using the optional mounting plate provided. No special wiring or cooling is required, but a minimum 25mm clearance is required at either end to ensure proper ventilation. For maximum service life, lithium-ion batteries should be stored and charged within the temperature range of 5-35°C.
The external casing of the charger can easily be cleaned using a cloth soaked in soapy water and squeezed through thoroughly. The charger must be switched off during any cleaning operations. The fan filter can be changed by the user and this should be done periodically dependent on the user environment.
The Multiple Battery Charger is supplied with a power lead, 12 months return to base warranty and a user instruction manual. All units are delivered in commercial packaging. There is an optional mounting plate.
