Blazepoint has just launched the ndura RUGGED® 3.7” PDA, which combines ultra rugged design with versatile communication and data capture. The device, which meets all the harsh environmental requirements of MIL-STD-810F and MIL-STD-461E, is capable of fulfilling a range of critical roles, including downloading information gathered in the field into other systems. The test regime for this highly resilient model includes multiple 5 ft drops.
Features include a lower power consumption processor and a rich I/O port array for application expansion. Overall dimensions are 149 x 96 x 42mm and in its standard form the device weighs 750g. A navigation key and four function keys make for ease of operation.
