Blazepoint sponsored Pete Goss MBE in the 2006 Round Britain and Ireland Yacht Race. Based upon Blazepoint’s military Tablet PC, Pete Goss and his team mate Paul Larson put the ndura Rugged Tablet PC to test throughout the 2000 mile challenge.
On deck, even whilst soaking wet from the pouring rain, the Tablet PC enabled the crew to send emails and communicate their progress back home.
Navigating the team through some of the most extreme sailing conditions; the striking yellow Tablet PC provided continuous computing power and operational flexibility during the entire race.
This sailing adventure subjected the Tablet PC to gruelling conditions; proving that Blazepoint’s rugged kit has the stamina to survive the test of real-life volatile environments.
